A fresh new concept shop has popped up at Canal Walk: The PopUp [Summer] Shop is as bright and beautiful as it is optimistic. The store features local independent brands, makers of considered fashion and lifestyle accessories. Every product in the curated range of goods for sale has been made with so much care.
Paying a visit to the PopUp [Summer] Shop is very invigorating. This store is designed as a sensory retail experience. Uplifting scents and sounds, a friendly team of smart, stylish assistant, and a unique selection of fun products, including fashion for men and women, on-trend accessories, homeware, and self-care, by an assortment of brands not usually found in the mall.
It’s promising too, to see passionate entrepreneurs collaborating to make a difference after the South African retail sector’s recent rocky ride. Each indie-brand on board represents a ‘family’ of skilled makers behind the scenes, most have been involved in the production for years. By sharing resources and networks, this collaboration is contributing to a wider circle of sustainability – in which we, consumers, play a very important role too. If you are into making more conscious lifestyle choices, supporting local and investing in well-made products that are designed to last, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
The PopUp [Summer] Shop is hosted at Canal Walk, located upstairs – you can’t miss this ray of sunshine, across from entrance 7.
